KMTA recitals are an opportunity for the students of KMTA members to perform in front of a live audience. Recitals are open to the public. Performers must register through their respective teachers.
IMPORTANT: The Winter Musicale will be posted one video at a time on the KMTA Facebook and YouTube pages. Check in to one of those pages periodically throughout November and December to see the performances.
Repertoire: Holiday music including Christmas music, Hanukkah music, Diwali music or other festive music of any faith is encouraged. Non-holiday music is also allowed. All instruments, voice, and ensembles allowed. Compositions composed by students are also allowed. Music must be memorized unless it is an ensemble. Please perform music that is published or perform your own original composition.
Eligibility: The Winter musicale is for KMTA students, preschool age and up. Limit 5 students per teacher.
Dress code: Dressy holiday formal wear encouraged. No causal clothing is allowed such as t-shirts, tank tops, jeans, shorts or athletic wear. Holiday accessories such as reindeer headbands, Santa hats, elves hats or other festive accessories are encouraged for the Winter Musicale but not required.
