Original Composition Contest

Registration is closed

The TMTA SA Original Composition Contest encourages students to compose their own compositions. With their private teacher's guidance, students can compose solo (single instrument) or ensemble (two or more instruments) compositions that may be submitted to a local judge and then the state contest for adjudication. The local judge will submit feedback to the composers as they prepare their works for the state competition.

Registration Troubleshooting:

If you see one or both of these messages below the "Choose registration type" section:

1. "Event registration is not available for [your email here} due to event settings"

2. "Only for certain membership levels"

then you either haven't logged in or you haven't been given a KMTA account. If the latter, please follow the instructions on the Join Us tab to send in the proper form to our Second Vice President.
