Deadlines: Registration for this event must be completed by February 15, 2024.  Students should be learning the piece and have made the commitment to participate by this time.  Diana Lopez has emailed detailed information about Convention Ensembles to all teachers; please contact her if you have not received this message.

Texas/American Ensemble (Grades 3 to 8): “Sweetwater Junction” by Susan Staples Bell

High School Ensemble (Grades 9 to 12): “Summer Samba” by Melody Bober

Eligibility: Students participating must be TMTA Student Affiliate members.  Students must pass their TMTA theory test in the 2023 - 2024 school year.  Rehearsals are mandatory.  The schedule will be announced by the director after consulting with parents.  Students are expected to rehearse and perform from memory.
